It is official! Yesterday went off without a hitch, and my case child is no longer my case child. She has been adopted, and she is out of the juvenile dependency system! Hooray! I'm still a CASA at heart, although I guess I'm no longer on a case. I have much to be grateful for today, and now I'm transitioning into being a family friend instead of "our CASA." :-) This makes me incredibly happy.
Today I am thankful for: feeling fulfilled.
