I'm getting ready for my third Houston summer, and I'm saving money in the process -- thanks to my years of cutting jeans, dance pants, tights, and shirts in high school. Basically, I'm a professional clothing mutilator. It's as easy as one, two, three!

Concerning the other end of the garment: did you ever (prompted by Mariah Carey) cut the waistband off of your jeans? I'm kind of mortified to reveal that maybe two pairs of jeans that I owned between the ages of 14-16 escaped that fate. Kids those days! ;)
